A light-rain train crashed into a car near E. 26th and Hiawatha Avenue in South Minneapolis Friday, killing one person, KARE 11 reports.
Three other people were reportedly injured in the mishap.
According to a spokesman for Metro Transit, the northbound train hit the car about 6:30 p.m.
The Star Tribune reports that the train apparently dragged or pushed the car down the track, which sparked a fire.
As a result, Metro Transit said service had been disrupted between the Franklin Avenue and 46th Street stations, and buses replaced trains in that area.
