Pekovic, Shved will play against Clippers

Good news for the injury plagued Timberwolves. Coach Rick Adelman told reporters on Tuesday that Nikola Pekovic and Alexey Shved are expected to return from injuries Wednesday night against the Clippers.

Both players were injured January 17 against the Clippers. Pekovic bruised his quad while Shved sprained an ankle. Minnesota went 1-4 without them.

Clippers starting point guard Chris Paul will miss a fifth straight game because of a bruised right kneecap, according to ESPN Los Angeles.
