Bills has $68,000 for campaign's home stretch

Republican Kurt Bills goes into the the final weeks of his campaign for U.S. Senate against Sen. Amy Klobuchar with a meager $68,262 in the bank compared to Klobuchar’s campaign that has $4.8 million on hand, MPR reports.

“Our donors are thousands of middle-class Minnesotans who have been crushed by the dismal economy Amy Klobuchar helped create. Amy Klobuchar’s crony capitalism gets the support of millionaires and PACs whose bidding she does in the Senate.” Bills campaign manager said in a statement.

A Survey USA/KSTP poll released Monday gives Klobuchar a 28 percent lead over Bills.
