Which Minnesota cities were devastated by the great fire of 1918?

A) On Oct. 10, 1918, a forest fire begins on the railroad line between Hibbing and Duluth, killing 435 people and burning 38 communities. The blaze destroys Cloquet, Carlton, Moose Lake, and several other towns before reaching the outskirts of Duluth three days later.

Afterwards, in response to a series of lawsuits, the Minnesota Supreme Court rules that the railroads are responsible for damages based on poor forestry practices.
