Where are Minnesota's Leif Erikson statues?

C) Both Leif Erikson statues, located in St. Paul and Duluth, were sculpted by the same man, John K. Daniels,  a Norwegian immigrant who attended St. Paul’s Mechanic Arts High School. Daniels, who died at the age of 102 in Minneapolis, based his Erikson statue in Duluth from a statue of the explorer erected in Boston in 1887.

 

Of course, Leif Erikson Day is celebrated on land and sea — around the world…
