Redskins expect RGIII to play Sunday

Titans toppled, Redskins on deck.

That’s the bottom line for the 4-1 Vikings, who play at Washington on Sunday.

Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III isn’t guaranteed to start, however.  He suffered a mild concussion in Sunday’s game against Atlanta and needs to pass certain tests to get back in the lineup.

How hard was the hit? Check out this animated .gif, from SB Nation.com.

The latest word from the nation’s capital is that RGIII will play. However, he still has to pass a series of tests to prove to the NFL that he’s healthy enough to play. If he suffers any setbacks the Redskins will likely start rookie backup Kirk Cousins.
