WCCO has a new TV studio set for its news broadcasts. See images here.
Among the features is a bank of four 60-inch high-definition monitors and a modernized weather center.
A few on Twitter wondered: What happened to the window? It’ll still be part of the new set, WCCO’s Jason DeRusha tweets:
@gina_lindell we loved and hated the window -it’s still a key part of the new set. It was hard to light, limited our options for graphics.

Local media critic David Brauer at MinnPost isn’t convinced just yet.
Dunno, man. the vertical stripes next to horizontal stripes mesmerizing me. RT @vtuss: Turned in late. What happened to the window? #wccoset
