Secretary of State Mark Ritchie held a news conference Tuesday to unveil a new online tool that will help voters prepare for election day. MPR News says.
“My Ballot” can be used to find polling places, check voter registration, track absentee ballots and will preview a lineup of the candidates on the ballot in each district.
Ritchie tells KARE 11 the tool is especially valuable this year because of redistricting. Many people might find themselves living in a new precinct with unfamiliar candidates.
The tool is found on the Secretary of State’s Office website.
