Quirky promotions to follow team to Lowertown

St. Paul Saints co-owner Mike Veeck tells KARE 11 the team’s quirky promotions and prices at Midway Stadium will follow the team to the proposed ballpark in Lowertown. “We’ve raised our ticket prices three times, from $3 to the princely sum of $5 and $6. And that’s our niche,” Veeck said.

Last week, the Saints secured $25 million from the Department of Employment and Economic Development to move forward with the plan to build a new regional baseball stadium in downtown St. Paul.
