Economists expect Minn. jobs data to mirror sluggish nationwide statistics

State economists don't expect Minnesota's upcoming jobs report to be much of an improvement on the downbeat nationwide data released on Friday. They tell the Pioneer Press that the monthly report for August, due in two weeks, is likely to track closely with the national statistics. Friday's report said 96,000 jobs were added nationwide in August, far less than anticipated.
