Minnesota native takes swimming gold at London Paralympics

Despite a reclassification that pitted Mallory Weggemann against more able-bodied swimmers, the Minnesota native fueled her frustrations into positive energy to win her first gold medal Sunday night in the 2012 Paralympic Games in London. Weggemann's time in the S8 50 meter freestyle not only earned her the gold, it also broke American and Paralympic records.
