PayScale.com studied foiks in the 19-29 year old age group to see which U.S. cities offer the most fertile ground for the Gen Y set to launch their careers. Minneapolis ranked high not only because of competitive salaries. Short commute times and plenty of other Gen Yers helped place the Mill City third behind Seattle and Houston.
