Minn. man driving lawnmower across state

Bob Harms, is driving the length of Minnesota from Canada to Iowa at a comfortable 7 miles an hour – on a riding Toro lawnmower, the West Central Tribune reports. Harms has suffered from hearing problems since he was an infant and his journey is a fundraising effort to benefit children with hearing loss and the Minnesota Lions Children’s Hearing Center.

Harms began the trek aboard a specially outfitted Toro on Aug. 20 and aims to wrap it up Wednesday.
