MSU-Mankato football coach arrested; child porn investigation underway

Minnesota State University-Mankato football coach Todd Hoffner was booked into the Blue Earth County jail while authorities searched his Eagle Lake home in a child pornography investigation. No charges were immediately filed. A captain in the sherrif’s department told the Mankato Free Press the investigation involves the possible use of minors in a sexual performance.

Hoffner was escorted off the MSU football practice field last Friday and placed on administrative leave at the university.
