Twin Cities viewers earn bronze in Olympic viewing

The Minneapolis/St. Paul television market was third when it came to watching the London 2012 Summer Olympics during prime-time hours in the adults 25-54 category, according to numbers from KARE 11. The Pioneer Press reports Denver took the top spot, followed by Atlanta.

Nationally, the London Games drew 219.4 million viewers, 4.4 million more than the Beijing Olympics in 2008 and 10 million more than the 1996 Atlanta games, according to Mediabistro.com.
