The group Howling for Wolves is circling in St. Paul Thursday for a rally at the Department of Natural Resources, the Associated Press says. The group plans to petition the state Thursday to stop the wolf hunt season in Minnesota, scheduled for November.
The activists oppose a hunting season given that the gray wolf was just this year removed from the endangered species list.
