MSP ranks No. 3 in on-time flight rates

Nearly 84 percent of domestic flights arrived within 15 minutes of their scheduled time in the first half of the year — the best performance since the government started keeping track in 1988, the Associated Press reports.

Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport landed at No. 3 among major U.S. airports for on-time flight rates in an AP ranking. Of flights at MSP, 87.14 were on time. Only Salt Lake City and Charlotte, N.C., had better rates.
