Convicted drunk driving offenders given unusual punishment options

A municipal judge in Fargo, N.D., gave three DUI defendants a choice: attend the funeral of a West Fargo family killed by a drunken driver or spend five more days in jail, the Forum reports. All three offenders chose to attend the funeral of Aaron and Allison Deutscher and their 18-month-old daughter in lieu of jail time.
