Nearly 800 people, including dozens of NHL players, were at the Xcel Energy Center Thursday night to celebrate the progress being made by Jack Jablonski. The Benilde-St. Margaret hockey player was paralyzed during a game last winter. Jablonski’s mother, Leslie, told WCCO, “What a difference it has made in him. Every day I feel like little miracles are happening.”
The Minnesota Wild and the Christopher Reeve Foundation hosted the sold-out gala. Fox 9 reports ticket sales alone raised $120,000 for Jablonski and others with spinal cord injuries.
