Summer League: Wolves beat Cavs, 78-65

The Timberwolves improved to 2-1 in Summer League play with a 78-65 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers Thursday night in Las Vegas. Derrick Williams led the Wolves with 23 points. He got to the free throw line 16 times.

Zach Harper, T-Wolves writer from ESPN’s Daily Dime, writes that Williams is still trying to find his place. He goes on to write that it might be natural for a slimmed down Williams to slide into the starting small forward spot this season.
