More men opt to be stay-at-home dads

WCCO has the story of Edina father Chris Kellick, a former chef turned stay-at-home dad whose his wife is an executive with Target. He’s been home with his two kids since his 10-year-old daughter was little.

The ranks of stay-at-home dads are growing. About 32 percent of fathers stayed home with their children at least once a week while mom worked in 2010, WCCO reports. That’s up from 26 percent in 2002.
