Hastings struggles with heroin use among young

John Sorenson, 18, was the fourth young adult from Hastings to die of a heroin overdose in the past three years. And Hastings has a higher number of heroin-related arrests compared with nearby cities of similar size. The Pioneer Press investigates the city's struggle with the drug.
