Burnsville-Eagan-Savage leaders drop four-day school week proposal

The plan would have cut more than two weeks from the school calendar to help balance the budget and save about $776,000. The proposal had strong opposition from parents. The BurnsvillePatch reports many teachers and parents are in support of eliminating late-start days used for staff development.
