Six years ago, leaders in Minneapolis decided to spend more than $1 million each year to expand wireless internet for various services. But the Star Tribune reports Minneapolis only used 11 percent of the bandwidth it paid for last year. Usage is expected to increase as the city continues to install Wi-Fi in squad cars and a variety of new wireless cameras.
