February 2, 2012Bakery raises $3K for officer Schneider fund
The Hanisch Bakery and Coffee shop in Red Wing raised the money by selling $2 Blue Ribbon #208 cookies last month. KSTP reports all the proceeds will benefit the family of fallen Lake City Police officer Shawn Schneider. He died December 30 after being shot in the head while responding to a domestic disturbance.
