The National Journal reports that a new poll conducted by Princeton Survey Research shows about 59 percent of those surveyed either “completely agree” or “mostly agree” with the protesters rallying across the country.
But is the whole thing over-hyped? The New York Times’ David Brooks, who’s apparently in Minneapolis, says yes. “The movement here has about 30 people, as best I can tell,” he says.
The Christian Science Monitor talks to people involved in that other populist movement, the tea party. While pundits draw parallels between the camps, many tea partyers are staying an arm’s length away and say the differences are irreconcilable. But not all. “I really admire what they’re doing,” says one tea partyer.
